My first try of that technique wasn't fit to take a photo of. Going to have to try it again soon. Yours is excellent! You might get a more delicate look if you can roll your fondant a little thinner. Love the color.
AThanks everyone! I agree the fondant is not thin enough.. All I had handy was Wilton fondant and you know how bad that sucks!!!! It was a lot of fun to do! Can't wait to try it again! Thanks again everyone! .)

Lea...It's actually very easy! I found this way less stressful than covering the cake with fondant in the traditional sense! No smoothing, no worries about it ripping...no air bubbles!
