AI do have the mat and I have been using it because of the folds in the silicone one! Mine pics up fibres too! Thought I was just me.

Although it seems to slip on my table so I need to figure out how to secure it!

I slightly wet the table before I put my mat down Kuuushi and it stops it from moving, just wet some kitchen roll and rub your surface with it or wet a tea towel and place it underneath but that can cause problems if your rolling bigger than the tea towel because of the seems.

Poor Lizzy I know builders are slow but yours seem to be taking forever to me so can imagine how you feel, gonna look at that FB page now.

How did you find out how much he charges for some of them Lizzy? He's done some nice cakes but how can he run a buisness if he sells them so cheap

It's in the comments sections of some of them roxy. Simple answer is he can't be running a profitable business. Time spent vs money earned (minus ingredients) means he will be working at probably £2/3 an hour, if that. And even that is assuming he decorates like lightening.

AHaving a tough week in work but had to pop in with a pic for tiddys Fb :-)

Lizzy maybe he steals cakes/topper toys from his work or something and adds a few bits and bobs quickly? There's something strange going on for sure!

LMAO  Gray that pic is great, perfect for Tiddy.

Lizzy I have just looked through some of the comments and can't believe the prices, he states his vehicle cakes start at £35 depending on size and the number cakes with all the mickey mouse decorations is £30 but if they want the large rectangle cake underneath it also then its £40. He also says two weeks notice but book as soon as possible as his diary gets full quickly, yer I'm not bloody surprised it does, definitely something fishy going on there he's registered as a business so has to pay insurance etc so must be making them for almost nothing.

A*I didn't draw this one just googled but it cracked me up.... feel like i should also have added "....then i feed it to my dogs!" ha ha ha

Actually I hate being stood up like that so much that I am now delivery only, no matter what- nobody comes to my house for pickups any more. I added £5 to my base costs for all cakes to partially cover 'free' local delivery and any further 'loss' in time/fuel is vastly outweighed by the 'saving' I make in less stress :)

AYou could add into your terms tiddy that "cakes not collected within 24hrs will be donated to charity and your deposit will not be refunded"..... the delivery only tho is a nice way to beat them :)

I work on a research farm doing trials for different feed, better housing, better husbandry etc and I have lots of final reports to finish for the funders but I just can't get into the rythem this week it's so frustrating, the others keep going all passive aggressive about me not taking work home when they 'have to' but I flat refuse, eating into decorating time coats me too much money and eating into family time costs too much hapiness!!
