AMorning all. :-)

Thanks everyone. :-) The bulges are there I promise! They don't show up as well on camera and strategic positioning of the paw prints helped! Glad bob looks like he's up to no good cos shadow (the real one) usually is! Can't remember who asked (haven't had much sleep) but it's shadows birthday today and I made it to cheer my mother up. She's had a tough year so it's nice to have an excuse. She thinks he's human, so does he. She treats him like he's her child.

In a rush this morning but I'll post a link to my cutters later Kathy, or a photo if I ca t find a link. I don't like them much but they're the best I've got.

Gota go, byee.

ABefore I go, jo was your brown chocolate flavoured? Or just coloured brown? I had real trouble with brown the other day, it was chocolate flavoured tho, thought that might have had something to do with it.

And thankyou for bulging advice.

Byee. :-)

Jo - I recently used a brown petal dust - when I did the garden cake.  The Sugarflair paste was not working for me in this heat.  I got a decent colour.  I think it was Nut brown or similar.

Thanks Barbara and Maisie for the cutter tips.  I really don't have a lot of experience with tappits - I hate the darn things as I can never get them out.  I saw a YT where somebody put clingfilm over the cutters and then pushed in the paste - well, that was a disaster, I can tell you!

Off to call the council to find out why they have put a bl**dy great black post right by my front wall - which is a bit of an eyesore when I look out of my window now!

AKathy, I have the tappitt sets and not used them yet either! I saw a woman literally tap it in the counter to get it out.

She pressed the GP in the mould and cleaned up the edges then flicked the mould and slapped it on the counter. It came clean out!

Yeah, let's hope she doesn't literally choke on the cake. I'd prefer to do that in person with my own hands :D

AKuuushi, still thinks its odd, if the cake is so bad, why does she want another one?

Morning all

Maisie you cake is so cute your mum will love it, and I'm guessing so will the dog as if she's anything like me with mine he will be getting some to.

Nanny why don't you airbrush you mini black?

Jo I had trouble getting white SP to brown until I bought the progels brown and that worked great.

Marvel I haven't done a football cake but I saw a set of hexagon cutter in Dunelm the other day if you could get a pentagon set you could use them both together for any size football you make.

No - but I was thinking of doing some in the future.  Are you using tiny balloons?

AI'm not Kathy and I think that's the issue, they are just too heavy. I'm going to try and find some water balloons as i think they would be better.

I need to put some more coats on these ones and see how they go. They are just a practice go to see how they work . Learnt lots from it so was worth while.

The mess is easy to clean as it sets like jelly and you can just pick it up :)

Bashini, crystal flowers are next on my list but I need some cutters first :)

It would make your life so much easier Barbara. I'll never colour paste black again.
