I used candy clay for the candles and dollops of "frosting". Everything else was LMF.

My sister never gets one of my cakes because she lives several states from me. I'm in NY and she's in KY. I froze this cake (my first cake freezing experiment) and sent it with my Mom who was driving to see her. I was told the cake tasted and looked just like I made it that day. YAY!

Hand painted poppies and sentiment on fondant. Fondant/gum paste poppy on top. Cannoli filling with vanilla cake.
SO happy how the heel came out. The cake is white almond with strawberry filling and white chocolate ganache. The base is yellow vanilla with chocolate filling and is covered in bettercream.
These will be given as gifts to the shower guests. First time doing both of these. Was nervous about the royal icing, but it wasn't as bad as I had imagined in my head. Will be uploading the cupcakes and oversized cup-cake later.
