Zombie cookies for my 31 Days of Halloween Cookie Challenge! Braaaaaains!
This is my third entry for the 31 Days of Halloween Cookie Challenge, a challenge I entirely made up and I'm the only one participating and really, it's not much of a challenge as much as me being neurotic and Halloween obsessed. The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favorite movies, and probably my favorite Halloween movie. This cookie was hand painted and I wish I hadn't chosen a black background because it kinda makes it look fake. The center was airbrushed orange and the black parts are vodka + black food coloring. The actual cookie is Sweetopia's gingerbread recipe.

I've decided to to a "31 Days of Halloween Cookie Challenge." So I'm making a new Halloween cookie every day. This design is by the wonderful SweetSugarBelle. I've only just graduated from culinary school, so I still have tons to learn. That's part of the reason why I'm doing this. I need to improve my piping skills, because I have very shaky hands.

Pumpkin spice cookies for an event at the Ritz Carlton. Proceeds of the sale of these cookies are going to the Make A Wish foundation. The gold is luster dust and the the lion is the logo of the Ritz. Apparently they were the first item to be sold out!
Amaretto cake for a 50th birthday.
Baby shower cake. Top tier is chocolate cake with caramel filling, middle tear is almond cake with mousse filling, and the bottom tier is WASC with Amaretto IMBC. The owl is made out of fondant.

My first ever naked cake. Painfully, I found out through the process that you are not actually allowed to be naked yourself while making these cakes. Bummer.
Thank you to the wonderful SweetResults for her tutorial on how to make sugar bottle molds! Not only was it easy, it was fun as well, and cheaper than buying a silicone mold. Definitely can't wait to make another cake like this again. Hopefully next time my bucket will come out better :D. Ice was made out of isomalt.
