This was my first try at MMF, thanks to Grace for a recipe that was easy to make and work with. The bottom layer is all chocolate and the top vanilla, Minnie is carved from rice treats and covered in fondant. Thanks to turtlesoup for the inspiration, my grandaughter loved the cake!
This is two vanilla sheet cakes, one I cut up to make the train and iced it all in buttercream. Placed a small toy on each train car for the birthday boy and girl.

Carved the cake to match the party plates and set it on a 9X13" layer. It is all decorated in buttercream.
Vanilla cake baked in a bowl and placed on an 8" round, 10" cake base. Covered in buttercream icing and sugar flowers. I did use an actual Barbie doll.
Two sheet cakes covered in Buttercream with Fondant dots, carved the dog shape fpr the top and covered and decorated wtih Fondant. Separate carved cake also covered with Fondant, had trouble with this as the cake settled making the dog shaped a little more like a pig. We all got a good laugh out of that but my grand daughter loved it.
This is a three tier buttercream cake, bottom layer chocolate fudge cake, top layer vanilla cake. I baked cookies, iced them with royal icing and used them to decorate the cake and form the blocks at the top. Used ribbons and purchased baby shoes for the topper
