Ice Chest At The Moto X Cake
Made for my brother's birthday duplicating the ice chest he packs when he goes to the track to ride. Filled with his favorite things. The cake 2 sheet cakes cut and stacked into 4 layers. chocolate with chocolate & buttercream icings. Smooth iced in red, then white fondant for the top part & handle. The bottles are my first attempt at making sugar bottles! I did use the labels off the real bottles, soaking them off and then placing them on the sugar ones. Used a bottle mold I made from liquid latex poured (10 coats!) over a real Coors bottle. The "ice cubes" were made from isomalt poured on tin foil.

Hershey Lovers Cake
Double fudge cake with fudge icings, mini- hershey bars as decoration, and findant knives piercing a fresh strawberry. Made with a slight sexual reference for a client who wanted me to incorporate chocolate & strawberries for her hunter boyfriend (thus the knives) plus the red dots are "Red Hots" stuck in whipped cream & icing. Sexy huh? LOL

Jumping The Sand Dunes
My brother loves riding his motorcycle out at the Las Vegas Sand Dunes and so that's what this represents (see the next photo to see the inspiration for this cake) It's mounds of white cake covered in chcoolate frosting and of course brown sugar - LOTS OF IT! The motorcycle is a toy of course, but altered to look like him.

Under The Sea Dolphin Cake
Chocolate cake, buttercream icings, dolphin is fondant covered cereal treats and painted with watered down food coloring. This was my first time working with isomalt for the coral pieces and it was easier than I thought! Loved that. Seashells and fishes are hardened royal icing sitting on brown sugar sand. Beach chair and palm tree are the only unedible plastic toy pieces.
