Ed Hardy Birthday Cake
This cake was totally inspired by Albie333. My daughter saw that one and had to have her own on her birthday. Entirely edible (except for wires in the hands)--my first attempt at sugar bottles-- with the cake being caremel filled "Death by Chocolate". She loved it and now her brother wants one too!

Princess Castle
My great niece wanted a pink cake with roses and towers. Inspiration came from cakes posted by Erinmac and Kitagrl. The small roses are molded fondant and the larger ones are buttercream. Towers are icecream cones and the doors and windows are fondant. Flavors are strawberry with strawberry filling and yellow cake with banana split filling. It was kidolicious!!!!

Finding Nemo
Although I have listed this under birthday cakes, this was actually used for a fund raiser. I had wanted to do these characters for awhile because they looked so cute on other cakes that had been posted on this site. All the elements are edible. Nemo and the puffer are RKT covered in modeling chocolate and fondant. Everything else is fondant with the excption of the shells which are just molded chocolate. The cakes are blueberry pound cake and carrot cake.

Ancient Earthling Birthday Cake
The little alien fella's around the cake were designed by my sister Elizabeth McCormack back in the 60's when happy thoughts and Peter Max were all the rage--No scarey aliens here!!!! (so I thought she might get a kick out of seeing them again as my Mom had saved the pictures all these years)!!!!Spaceship is carrot cake and the top part is blueberry cake covered in fondant. All aliens are fondant with a small amount of gumpaste added just to keep them upright.

4Th Of July Hidden Flag Cake
Alternating layers of red velvet cake and traditional white cake with cream cheese frosting and fondant accents. Large white stars on the top have alittle disco dust thrown on for some added sparkle! There is a "hidden flag" inside, but as this cake was raffled I don't have any pics of the slices. Will post if the winner of the cake emails me some----it was my first try at a" hidden flag" so I hope it turned out well!!!!!

Hubby's Bikini Cake
For my husband's 76th birthday I thought I'd make something fun for him---and from what I can see there isn't a guy out there who doesn't think a bikini is fun!!!!! The cake is german chocolate with coconut pecan frosting between the layers and chocolate cognac frosting over the outside. The "bikini top" is a pumpkin pie cake with cream cheese grand mariner frosting. The whole thing is covered in fondant with crushed graham crackers for sand.

Graduating Class Of 2011
A three tier cake and 70 cupcakes for after commencment refreshments at the graduation ceremony for our graduating class of 7 seniors. I made a small fondant cap and a diploma with each seniors name on it. They thought it was fun to have thier own name on the diploma! The cakes are frosted in buttercream and all decorations are fondant.

Captain's Curse Monster Truck
This monster truck birthday cake is for my daughter's boyfriend. Rice krispie treats covered in fondant for tires and truck bed. The dirt pile is chocolate cake with caremel filling, chocolate frosting and chocolate cake crumbles. Cab of truck is carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, covered in fondant, and decals are edible images. The cake is 20" long and 12" high. The tires are 6" in diameter. It came out way bigger than what we need to feed less than 10 people!!!!!!, But I guess if it wasn't big then it wouldn't really be a "MONSTER TRUCK!!!!"

Ninja Turtle Cake
All cake except for arms of turtle in the sewer. Fondant covered red velvet and spice cake. My 27 year old daughter wanted something "Ed Hardyish" for her birthday cake, but I thought it might be too "cutting edge"(translation--scarey!) for grandma (who was also going to be there) so she settled for Ninja Turtles which she loved as a kid, instead of a skull with a hat on!!! Thank god for understanding daughters!!!!!
