My first attempt at a multi tiered cake. This was actually my first tiered cake for Wilton Course 3, didn't like the one in the course book so I did this instead. Bamboo is made out of fondant (should have been gumpaste) and painted with liquid colour. Flowers are royal icing and brown sugar for the sand.
Birthday cake I made for a lady at my work (her husband is French). I tried to make the tounge out of fondant but I know now that gum paste would have been much better.
