Bacon Cheese Burger With Fries And A Coke...to Go Please!
This is the first time I've made a chocolate Coke bottle cake. I love the tutorial so I've always wanted to try one. So I decided to do one for my brother's birthday. This one is my second attempt. The first bottle crumbled into pieces when I tried to remove it from the plastic bottle that I used as a mold. So the second time around, I used candy melts instead of dark chocolate chips and it turned out much better. But getting it out of the plastic was still a challenge. The burger is a 6" cake, the fries are toasted pound cake strips, and the bottle is the 16oz size instead of the 2 liter size that's in the tutorial. Thanks for looking.

Black Panther Inspired Cake
This was a surprise birthday cake for my sister-in-law. It was based on the new Marvel movie Black Panther. I loved making this cake and the challenge of creating a design based on a comic book character without making it look like it was for a child. I chose to design the cake inspired by the costume of Okoye, who was one of the main female characters.

Lilo And Stitch
I’m so pleased this cake made it to it’s destination alright because it was for a very special young lady through Icing Smiles. Unfortunately, I couldn’t deliver it myself. I’m appreciate this photo that her mom took and sent to me. She said her daughter loved it and that’s all that counts, right!

Get Well Succulents
The was a design for a friend who wasn't feeling well. She's seen photos of cakes I've done before, but I've never made one for her before. She wasn't expecting it so she was surprised and loved it. I used a 6" round and a half sport ball pan. The succulents and pot are fondant and the pebbles in the pot are chocolate rock candies that I bought from a specialty candy shop.

"stock The Bar" Bachelor Party
Talk about killing two birds with one stone. Two guys, two weddings, two different days in the same month, but one office bachelor party for them both. The theme was Stock The Bar. Each person was supposed to bring each guy's favorite adult beverage. I put mind on the cake. Hahaha! Basic vanilla cake with buttercream filling. Everything else was fondant. The labels on the bottles were printed.

90Th Birthday Cake
Fun cake to make. I didn't add the gold "90" on top because I was afraid it might fall off while being transported. It was added when they arrived at their destination. They also changed the design of the bottom tier from what was on the sketch. Top and bottom tiers are vanilla cake and the middle tier is chocolate cake.

Moana Icing Smiles Cake
This is my first Icing Smiles cake. I hope the little girl who received it is pleased. It's a 6" and 10" vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. The cakes are covered in fondant with fondant accents. I wasn't sure if I could make a fondant Moana that looked exactly like the movie character so to be sure, I purchased the figurine and covered the base in fondant to match the top of the cake.

Steak Cake
I made this cake for my brother's birthday. Every year I make him a cake that resembles food other than "cake". This is vanilla cake with fudge frosting. I should have made a red velvet cake so it would look like a steak cooked rare when you cut it, but I did't think about it until I had finished. Oh well. Maybe next time.
