Too much fun with color! Bride had a Peacock theme wedding at the zoo (thus the zebra cupcake papers) and her fiance proposed on a sea turtle walk (turtle on the cake). Wasn't sure if we could pull all the different elements together, but somehow it worked!
Italian Buttercream with fondant daisies. First time to use Italian Buttercream on a decorated cake. Not as easy to smooth as crusting buttercream, but learned a lot!
Bride wanted something different. Wanted a 2 tier cake with cascading cookies instead of flowers. Searching for ideas, I decided on a box, with cookies falling out. Her mother loved the idea and wanted to surprise her. Next time, I would go with smaller cookies. Placed a few small flowers amongst the cookies.
6" and 8" beach wedding cake. Fencing is made of gumpaste. Chairs are wooden. White chocolate shells and graham cracker sand.
Groom played the acoustic guitar in a band. German Chocolate 10" cake. He also plays frisbee, thus the yellow frisbee propped against the guitar case.

High Schoolers across the states celebrate "mole" week. A unit of measurement. Of course, I'm told of the need for a "mole" cake the night before it is due. Teenagers are all the same...lol
