This is a baby shower cake for a pink and brown theme. This cake was a NIGHTMARE! The sizes are 12 and 8, chocolate with strawberry filling and fondant accents. I had a hard time with this cake because one of the cakes stuck to the pan. I tried fixing the problem by leveling the bottom and putting the top to the bottom and the top to the bottome. Well it ended up uneven from the sides. I tried frosting it a little thick to get a smooth finish. Morning comes and I discover a large crack in the back of the bottom teir with strawberry filling ready to ooze out! I wanted to cry. The lady was on her way and I had to fix it fast! Long story short I was still applying dots as the lady stood waiting for her cake. OMG she was so sweet though. This was the first time this had ever happened to me. Next time (if there ever is) I will rebake the cake and avoid all the drama.
