This cake turned out pretty good i think. For the jersey i put the last name of the birthday boy and the age he was turning. Used fondant for the jersey, eyes, nose, feet, and tail. Buttercream for the fur/hair. They loved the cake and didnt want to cut into it! I love it when the delivery makes a big impression like that!
I think im getting better with the fondant. I created this cakes based on a couple of cakes i've seen on here. Part of the side got damaged when the cake got moved to the silver serving platter its on. There are polka dots on each layer but they are hard to see because this picture was from a phone.
im still learning my way around with fondant - but i definately didnt have as many problems as I use to. Still some patchy areas and mistakes, but my cakes are getting there....slowly.

This cake I made for my future Sister-in-law. It's a yellow cake with buttercream icing and fondant accents.
This is my second cake ever done. It is double layer, fun-fetti. The accents are fondont, and the nose is rice-krispy covered with fondant. I think the mouth should have been a bit bigger. But all in all i was pretty pleased.
this is my first cake ever! i literally have never done ANY type of baking before. It is a fun-fetti cake, and i covered it in fondant. I think i did ok for it being my first cake, i was really excited.
