This cake was made for a 12 year old girls birthday. The base cake was Gluten Free, the middle layers were regular marble cake. The top cake was made of an Eggless chocolate cake. What a crazy looking cake, but she loved it and I had tons of fun making it.

So simple cake. White cake baked in a wilton flower pan, vanilla crumb coat then covered with marshmallow fondant. The little flowers are from a chocolate mold. The butterflies were hand made with gum paste.
This marble cake was made for a retiring librarian. Her favorite book is Little House on the Praire. The cake was white and chocolate marble, with vanilla frosting and marshmallow fondant. The wagon was made out of pound cake, and covered with fondant as well. The quote is one from the book that she loved.
I did the Wilton roses on this one. It took awhile for me to figure out how to do the roses correctly, but I think I did pretty good.
My friend and I have birthdays very close together, so I made 40th birthday cake! This was my first multi tiered cake, it worked out great, and each layer was a different flavor.

For my son's 15th birthday he wanted a shield with his own coat of arms on it. It was fun, although it was the first time I used fondant, I made the fondant too, it was realy tasty!
The story is, my nephew went to Germany with his school. At a resturant, they ordered some beer. My nephew, (who has been raised with German beer drinkers) didn't know what to get....so he ordered a Corona. This was his birthday cake after his trip. He loved it!

Santa may not make all his deliveries this year...seems he's stuck in the chimney! This one was time consuming, but very fun!
This was my first try at making a turkey cake. I think it turned out great. The host for Thanksgiving Dinner came to me and said she had no idea it was cake until I pointed it out.
