my grandaughter has bieber fever!haha. made this for her 6yr old birthday party. may be hard to see but inbetween the tiers i had purple and white gumballs with purple ribbon. on the top tier i had light up stars (as well as inbetween the tiers.) and the little stand up card played one of his songs. the kids were calling it the light up singing cake. it was a big hit!

made this cake for my daughter going away party at her job. she works for orkin (yes the bug company) and is moving to florida to work on her bachelor degree. i designed the cake to show the transition from living in new england and working with the bugs-and on her new path (road) to sunny florida. (and yes there will be more bugs!) haha. she loved the cake. i also had the bugs holding signs with funny sayings.
birthday cake for my daughter is turned 26 and still loves hanson. (yes for you 90's kids those mmmbop boys) we still go to their shows and now are 3 generations of fans. since she (we) are waiting for their new album i used their last album for the design. it says: happy mmmbop birthday brittany thought that would be cute.

the cape was her idea and she wrote the words on the cape. im so proud of her.

i baked 3 days for my daughters holiday work party. (see display table) and im trying to get the cookie decorating thing down. my cookie decorating is not very good. anyways-i must have been so exhausted while making the rudolph character cookies. can you see the mistake i made? after i saw the mistake i made i didnt make anymore of the characters. and kept these cookies home.

first thank you to CC'ers Normita, Colababy and Blakescakes for all your help you gave me in covering a cake dummy and edible image. dummy cake made for All American Red Heads that are being inducted into the Hall of Fame. of course the day i do the cake the humidity was at its worse in CT!! didnt attached the red stripes to the sides because the humidity was too much on the fondant. little lights are to be added once cake is on sight. strawberry shortcake birthday cakre for a 5yr old girl. vanilla bean cake w/fresh strawberries. my daughter painted the strawberry shortcake girl! also made a dozen strawberry cupcakes, cake topper and cupcake topper. (didnt get a photo!) TFL **note: i was so tired from a long week of baking (for other cakes)-that i didnt realize until the cake was picked up that the flowers look like trees!i totally missed my proportions and was so embarassed :( **
