This is for my lovely sister-in-law who will be 40 on Satuday. The only inedible part of the cake is her earrings and necklace as I used diamante to give her a proper sparkle! I don't think she will eat herself anyway...so we're safe!
This is for a 30 year old who is a fan of Richard Gere and in particular his Officer and a Gentleman movie. You can see the full cake on my blog. I enjoyed making this one....this is my first Navy character! I don't think he'll be my last.
I'm teaching this in New York...I hope. Once approval comes my way I'm sorted. All the class subjects will be taken care of so that leaves the Austin classes to finalise. Onward and upward as they say...or is it no rest for the wicked!
This is a demo cake which is going to be done..in part..as a workshop later in the year. I spend so much time teaching how to make people that I thought it was time to introduce a few more friendly faces! You might recognise another relative of my sheep from my You.Tube videos on this one!

I will be teaching this subject in Houston this April. Houston Cake Club are hosting the classes. Now all three subjects are done....I'm working on the New York ones now! I'll soon have to move to America I reckon! hahaha!

My dad's birthday is tomorrow and we are taking him out for dinner....after a day of coffee and shopping! I delivered his cake today so that he can have some time to look at it before it gets cut into pieces. The top can be removed though as usual and he can keep it. The cake itself is chocolate...I want a piece!
This is going to be another of the classes in Houston next April. We will also make another baby if there is time which will be in a diaper and a blanket, but this project will be the main one on the day.

Did I say you'd seen the last of the bears for this year?? I lied! I made this cake topper at a demonstration last weekend and took a quick photo as I won't see them again. Looking at the photo now, I wish I had added a little tongue on the mummy bear but it's not the end of the world....I'll remember next time. ;o)
Bears, bears and more bears! I love making my bears and am just adding to the collection to travel around with me on demonstrations and for display. I think I need to make a really big family of them and get them out of my system!
Simply playing around with designs and will use this little man on a demo cake for display only. He is shorter in stature than my usual style so I plan to add to this family of big nosed little people. :o)
This is for a 7 year old who requested a fairy cake....so she is getting a little bit extra with an additional tier. I love pink and girly so this cake was a treat to create.
I held a workshop entitled Dad & Me but it became Dad & Us with all the pets included too! I may add a little more to this at some point as it is for display purposes only. The class was a lot of fun and I am thinking up some new projects for next year now.
I have just returned from the International Cake Show at the NEC, Birmingham where I have won a Gold Award for this entry in the Novel Cake Design category. I was also demonstrating at the show this year and had mini workshops too. A very busy but very successful weekend! :o)

The little cake topper I showed earlier has now found it's way on top of the cake...along with 2 other little models of the same little girl. I'll be sad to say goodbye to this one!
