This was actually a Christening Cake and are the same two boys who appear on my wedding cake entitled "Everyone came to the party!" I made the design on a cake card covered in sugarpaste and attached it to the cake. The recipients were able to keep the design and eat the cake.
This was the top tier of a wedding cake which I will upload at a later date when I get the time. The couple are keen mountaineers so it was their idea and was fun to do.
Hot pink was the order of the day so who was I to refuse. This cake was made from chocolate, strawberry and lemon cake. It must have smelled fabulous once it was cut and laid out onto a platter.
I gave each one of these a personality of their own. You can't go wrong with a bit of humor! The girl who is on her rear end is a gymnast....luckily she is more careful in real life.
I used Magic Sparkles on this cake. I love the effect of these.
The recipients of this cake were Hearts Football Club supporters here in Scotland, hence the rich colour. The beads were glued onto gold wires and bent into shape and placed into a flower pick with a little oasis fix. A lovely effect I thought and the bride and groom were very pleased.
Noddy is leaning on a little enchanted tree trunk which can't be seen from this photo. The tree had a little nest with 3 eggs in it so there was something to look at from any angle. I have just shown the top of the cake to let you see the detail a little closer.
This doesn't represent my own daughters bedroom by any means! However, this is a fun scene to make. The girl was a Sound of Music fan, hence the dvd cover on the floor.
You can't go wrong with these characters. They always raise a smile. I love making these.

This was for a golden wedding anniversary. It is a fairly simple design brought to life with the beautiful ribbon and edible sparkles. The miniature roses and leaves are made from fondant and dusted with gold powder and sparkled.
This was for a Christening. I enjoyed making the mischievous teddy bears!
This was for a first birthday for a little girl whose favourite character is Eeyore. Her mum wanted balloons on it too so I obliged!
I made this cake for my mother. She has kept "herself" in her china cabinet along with her china display! I'm glad it made her day.
I made this cake for a man who celebrated his 40th birthday. His wife requested all of the family to be included on the cake as she didn't want anybody to feel left out! Even the dog got his nose in!
I made this cake for 2 cleaning ladies who turned 60 on the same day. I didn't make them look very clever at their job but it made them laugh so all was well.
I created this wedding cake for my friend. One of the character's is her sister and the smallest children are her niece and nephew. The older children belong to the groom. They hope to make an addition to the family very soon. This was great fun to make and attracted a lot of attention from the wedding guests. I hope you like it too.
