Carrot cake with cream cheese filling. I was wondering why i thought it would be easy enough to make this cake! Ugghhh! Alot of work. But overall i think it worked out alright.
Not sure if anyone else has tried this design but it ended up being alot easier than i expected and everyone loved it! It is inspired by Elisa Strauss of Confetti Cakes. I used the doll pan for the dress and sawed off the head of my daughter's barbiedoll(she was sleeping at the time) and covered it in gumpaste. I also placed the bride on a 10" round cake... Vanilla cake with coconut cream filling.
Marble cake with buttercream icing. Customer brought this pic of tractor for the cake. Simple enough, sure... but had such a hard time getting the icing smooth! ahhhh!

Chocolate fudge cake with buttercream icing. Buttercream covered straws for 'sails'. After following some pretty weak instructions on making a pirate ship, i found my cake completely falling apart in the fridge...slowly cracking apart. After a five minute stress break, I realized that i could make a squid attacking the ship. Everyone thought i meant for the ship to be broken apart like that. It worked out great in the end and my 5 year old son just loved it!
