This is one of two cakes I baked for the Church Carnival bake sale this week. I dropped them off and they put a price tag of $12 on each! I'm new to decorating, and I put a lot of time into these, I was a little disappointed they priced them so low! I saw the people that bought them and they seemed to appreciate them though!

This was a cake I made before I took the Wilton classes last month. It is what got me interested in cake decorating. It is Death by Chocolate cake with Chocolate Brown Betty frosting and my Mom's recipe for almond decorating icing. It was for my Mother-in-law who is a chocoholic. She said it was the best cake she ever tasted, and the first one anyone had ever made for her!
This was a 2 tier 6" lemon cake with snow white buttercream and fondant stars.
This was my first stacked cake, and my final cake for Wilton Class 3. I had to freeze it and thaw it out for the 4th and the fondant and buttercream sagged a bit, definatly a learning cake!
