Here's a small cake made for a friend. BC icing and decorations. Basic yellow cake. 90 years old - bless her heart!
First, Thank you Lambshack for the inspiration for this cake. Mine is much smaller but I think your wow-factor is still there. My neice is a senior and a member of her high school FFA (Future Farmers of America). They are holding a cake & pie auction and she asked me to make a cake for it. Cow was made from Rice Krispie treat mix covered in fondant - reverse marble cake with buttercream icing. Fondant blue accent and gumpaste flowers.

Copy of bridal gown - bodice was done in gumpaste, skirt was vanilla cake covered in fondant. Excuse the lovely blue non-skid mat under the cake - delivered to sister of bride who was taking it to the shower.

Here's a cake I made for the town fire chief who was retiring. Many thanks to TheCakeWizard for helping me and for inspiring me. Cake was vanilla with BC icing. All details on truck including the ladder were royal icing. Tires were gumpaste. Cake in background was covered with fondant flames and had a molded firecheif sitting on top with a hose leading to the truck.
Here's a cake I made for a friend who just LOVES her dog. Thank you to Aine2 for her help with the dogs. I'd never done any form of modeling but she made it possible and the recipient thought they were just the cutest. Cake was vanilla with BC icing. Dogs, present, and bones were gumpaste. Flowers and paw prints were fondant.

This cake was for a friends daughter turning 8. She wanted a princess cake and with many thanks to Karateka for her help with the tiara - she was the happiest little girl in the world. I wasn't pleased with the look after I put the pearls on the cake - I pressed them too hard. I put heart shaped cut outs around the base of the cake too. The cake is vanilla with rainbow sprinkles mixed into the batter for a colorful surprise inside. Icing is BC with a gumpaste tiara and bow - ribbon & pearls are fondant

Made this tiered cake for a friend of ours that was promoted to VP. Thanks to boween for the crown inspiration. Crown is a 2 layered marble cake covered in fondant. Gold pieces on crown are gumpaste painted with gold luster dust. Bottom cake is reverse marble covered in BC. Coin pouch is fondant. Coins are chocolate candies.

This was a cake I did for hubbies Holiday party. BC icing on yellow cake. Squares are filled with colored coconut and foil wrapped chocolate kisses. I did a rendition of this for easter (thanks again Ladycake) and thought I could encorporate a christmas theme. Very versatile design.

Here is a cake I did for my SIL. She's a pastry chef in NYC so I was under a little pressure on this one.
