A local hockey mom saw my other jerseys and requested this for her son who is a HUGE fan of our local OHL team the Barrie Colts. Hand carved 4 and 0 from an 11x15 chocolate cake, iced with traditional buttercream. Hubby ordered this one for her actual birthday as he was also planning a big party on the weekend.
Modelled after the monster truck Grave Digger. Body of truck made from Wilton 3-D Cruiser, wheels are stacked cookies. Base cake is 9x13. All iced iwth regular buttercream. Logo on side is piped and painted with buttercream.

These may very well be my favourite cakes to date! Each is a 12x18, one white with vanilla IMBC covered in fondant, the other chocolate with chocolate IMBC and covered in chocolate fondant. The logos are traced and then painted onto rice paper which I then made into fondant plaques. They were the hit of the party!
This cake was ordered by and aunt & uncle whose nephew is going back to the University of New Brunswick after living and working here for the summer. They wanted to say 'Good bye!' in a lighthearted way. It's a 9X13 chocolate cake filled and iced with chocolate IMBC, with fondant trim and decals. Thanks to everyone who gave me ideas on what to do!
8" butter cake iced and filled with vanilla IMBC. My attempt at the Cupcake Cafe style of cake. Roses are much easier to do with this icing than the shortening recipe!
