I really had a great time making this one! Thanks to ALL the other photos here on CC for the different ideas. I hope everyone likes my contribution!! The cake is 2 layer, 10" squares of chocolate cake with buttercream. A few fondant accents to boot!!
I completed this cake for donation to a Cake Auction for a local church. It was really alot of fun. Thanks to all the other frogs here on CC for your inspiration. This was also my first attempt at a intricate flower. Not so bad I think. I learned a lot through the process and now my flowers are looking much better!!! Thanks for looking everyone!!

I made this one for a baby shower for a mom expecting a little boy. 9 inch round bottom layer with half of ball pan for belly and 2 cupcakes to complete :) Bottom layer is done in buttercream with the belly and clothes in fondant. My favorite part was the belly button peaking out!! Thanks for looking.

A circus tent for a local bank doing a marketing promotion with a circus theme. The cake is 2-layer 8" rounds with the Wilton doll cake shape on top. Mostly buttercream with exception to the blue stars and flag on top, which are fondant.
My version of an idea here at CC. I chose this for a new grandmother and thought it worked well.
These were for my local mothers of multiples group. We had a great big easter social with a great deal of different age levels. The mini-eggs on the tops of the cakes were a big hit with the itty-bitty kids who only needed a small taste.
I made this cake for a neighbor whose daughter was having a Strawberry Shortcake Birthday Party. The regular shaped pan was not enough cake for the amount of people that she was to have over so I added the loaf pan cake to the bottom. A bit of a take off the current Wilton Yearbook cake. I was very proud of this one as it was my first character cake!!
Final Cake from Wilton Course I. I have since gotten much better about getting smoother base icing!! Yeah!! My roses were actually a nicer shade of lilac, also.
I made this for a friend who thought you couldn't "decorate" cheesecake. It is very simple but very impressive.
