Elmo
This was my first time doing a little figure. He was fun to make. I used rolled chocolate fondant for him. I learned to start with a smaller body, and to put in the fridge to let it harden before putting on the head. Because he started melting and the head pushed the body down, so he looked "fat". Live and learn. Thanks for looking! OH! The flowers had to match the other decorations. Buttercream and fondant.

Dots
This was done to go with a anniversary cake for the same party. She wanted both cakes to tie in with each other. She wanted to have the fondant circles for the birthday cake and something "pretty" for the anniversary cake. So this is what I came up with. She was really happy. 11x15 sheet cake, chocolate, with buttercream, and fondant circles. Thank you for looking!

Welcome Cake
First I have to say thank you to 1sweetpea for the beautiful color inspiration! This cake was done for a party my husbands family had for his sister who had just adopted 2 girls from Columbia. They are 12 and 13 years old, so I wanted a cake to show their maturity. It was a dummy cake, all covered in fondant, because the party was a open house type of dinner. I made 2 sheet cakes for the back, to be cut when people were ready for it. Thanks for looking!!!
