Hi!
I really liked how this cake flowed. It has piped royal icing ribbon roses. I loved the soft colors... pearls are edible, too.
Thanks for peeking!

The roses are pretty simple, just take a rose tip (102 I think I used) and starting on your flr nail with the fat side down touching the nail, start piping and twirling the nail keeping the whole thing flat to the nail. As I get to the end, turn the tip down a little flatter and you'll get a nice taper to them.... easy! Jen :-)
I really like the roses on this cake too, I have a wedding cake coming up and I think I'll show a picture of your cake to the bride to see if she would like something simmilar!(in the way of flowers) Thanks for posting your photos
Love the different cake heights too. Thanks for the directions on the royal ribbon roses- would love to see you do a tutorial on this new tecnique! Beautiful cake! :)

Pinkbox - I just use a plain ole rose tip and swirl them on a flower nail. They really are easy, no need to make a center cone first. I wish I had time to do a tutorial, but right now getting ready for 4 classes, so I just can't. If you need more info, just let me know. Jen :-)
This cake is sooo beautiful, i cannot take my eyes off of it...You are just amazing..please pm me 'cause i still have trouble just making the rose they teach us in class
