Hello, every one . I am looking for this mat for a long time and can't find it. Does any one know where to find it? I am attaching a picture of the cake. Thank you.

Beautiful cake! Looks like you could use a sheet of that plastic "needlepoint" canvas they sell at craft stores. It comes in many gauges. If "food safe" is a concern, maybe you could put the canvas over plastic wrap to imprint?

Thank you ibmoser for your advise. I will go and look for it. I sow some cakes with this texture here on CC i am just wondering if there is something made for cake decorating.

It is the sheets of plexiglass that you will find as covers in your fluorescent lights

Purchase new ones from a Glass/Acrylic supplier - like this

Lolll - sometimes i just click reply without reading each and every reply - glad i did this time because i was about to say and post the same link as you...
I bought a piece 8 inches x 8 inches some time ago to use of a 6 inch top tier.... one tip i will suggest before using is...
After covering your cakes in fondant - let the fondant firm for about 30 minutes - that way you will get a sharp patten without the sheet catching on the fondant.

I always do the embossing as a separate piece of fondant - and I always take the acrylic OFF the fondant, NOT the fondant off the acrylic ( means less lieklyhodd of fondant distorting) Much the same as RBI icon_smile.gif
