Edited to say wasn't very happy with the black running into some colors..Didn't have time to redo it..makes me mad!!!

I don't know if this helps and I am not an expert, but I never use black as the outline. I always darken the color of the inside and use that. For me it works and you don't have the black problems. I think it is beautiful and looks like it took a long time to get a great result!...sue
