Under Water - Mermaid
MMF with BC - my first try at a mermaid - my son said the eyes looked funny... i tend to agree with him. lol This was 6 layers of cake carved a bit to look like under the sea. Pearls,. crab, octopus, and sea greenery (I can't remember what they are called) are all MMF with a bit of gumpaste in them. My neice liked it very much and I am very happy about that. I tried to make the mermaid look like her with chubby cheeks and darker hair. She saved it to keep after the party. Thanks for looking.
