Oh my gosh...that is gorgeous! Your sides are amazing and perfect. I think YOU need to do a tutorial on that, it is amazing! Really I can't say enough about it....I am stunned.

very nice cake! I like how you pulled elements and colors from the chocolate transfer to the top decoration. I am not a big fan of a star border, I tend to think it makes the cake look choppy instead of flowing and elegent. The flower on the board, should have had same center as flowers on top.
I LOVE the border around the cake! I didn't really know why it seemed a little different to me until I realized that mayeb it was the yellow that struck me as a little bland for the rest of the cake- maybe pulling the orange from the transfer would have made it 'pop' more. Having said that though, I really adore this cake because it reminds me of backyard memories and good times :)
Your transfer sheet turned out lovely. Great job matching the colors. Your border yellow makes your cake appear squished. Maybe a white border? Because of the nice transfer the design would have worked better for me with less overall because it seems busy. The cut out fondant dollie is tradionally done with run out sugar or 'color flow'. I will PM you with a couple of books.
Critique Group Member: Very beautiful cake!! You did an awesome job on the transfer. I personally like the yellow in the borders but would like to see a more elegant border to go with the elegant transfer.
Thanks - it is a chocolate transfer sheet. Used the instruction from the Country Kitchens video.
