Blue's Clues First Birthday Cake

This was a rush job. I sort of ran out of time - don't ask. Thankfully I had already tracked down the plastic figures from my son's 3rd birthday (he'll be ten this Dec.!) a few days earlier (I was going to use them as guides to make figures out of MMF). The bottom cake is peanut butter with chocolate bavarian cream filling; the center cake is banana (I forgot to add filling!), and the chair is carrot cake. The blue and green are MMF - the very first time I've ever made it and worked with it.
I think it's cute. Doesn't look rushed
I love your thinking chair and the colors go perfectly with the figures.
Thanks. I forgot I was out of red food coloring paste!
awesome!
Thanks, steph and LBM. I can't believe my oldest (son) will be 11 in Dec ('07). Time flies .....
So cute! I did a Blue's Clue for my son's 2nd B'day -- he'll be 10 in August.
The couch is sooo cool. Its awesome...it doesnt look like a rushed cake for me.
Great cake! I miss Blue's Clues.....my kids are too "old" for it now (8, 9, and 10)...:( Your chair is awesome - how did you get it to be such a perfect shape?
How did you do the chair?? Did you hand carve? My soon to be 3 year old would love this!
