I was contacted 3 days before the event to make a simple birthday cake with the cues of: super chocolate, rainbow, lilac writing. So I use the Quintessential Chocolate Cake recipe from Cake Paper Party, used a chocolate simple syrup, AND coated the whole with chocolate ganache using Callebaut semi-sweet chocolate. Oh yeah, nailed the "chocolate to the max" theme. They were very happy with the cake although personally this is too simple for my taste. Customer is boss!
