Dental Assistant Graduation Tooth Cake
This is a 3D tooth cake for a student graduating as a dental assistant. The cake was made using a 9-inch round contour cake pan on top of an 8-inch round, both carved into a taper. A wooden dowel was screwed into a masonite board for cake support. The roots were rice krispie treats with wooden dowels through the center of each.
Looks awesome!
Thank you much!
Love the cake.
So did you just stack the 2 cakes on top of the rice krispies? Or did you use a big dowel in the middle all the way through the 2 cakes as well?
@SweetAddictionNYC I'm so sorry, I've been on hiatus with the cakes and I didn't see this comment. I did both. There were two cake boards. One board was on top of the legs (roots) and the two cakes stacked on top of that with a wooden dowel going through them into the masonite cake board that was inside of the cake. Then coming from there were four dowels (roots) with rice krispies and fondant around them that went into the main cake board that you can see decorated on the bottom.
