The picture is a year old. It is a bit different take on a Gruffalo cake, instead of the Gruffalo' it is part of the story. It is the home of the snake, my daughter loves the Gruffalo's Child book and knew exactly what this cake was about. Everything but the bulrush stalk is edible and the include the ground . The main flavours are toffee, chocolate, fudge, dulce de leche and cream, yes it was a lovely sweet cake. The rocks are cookie crumb fudge. The logs are toffee and chocolate swissrolls , oreo dirt, toffee button and white cake and butter cream moss . Not perfect but for home made cake I think I made it work.
