I was asked to make a cake for a celebration of a young lady turning 80. =) She liked bright colors, so we decided to use teal for the frosting. At 80, you obviously have an extensive family tree. I actually took ideas from here on CC (I will have to look and see who the main inspiration cake belonged to! Sorry!). The customer and her mother were very pleased. The cake is vanilla with BC, MMF trim around layers, and the tree/leaves are made from modeling chocolate and dusted with gold shimmer dust.
