Ladybug Smash Cake: Base is boxed vanilla cake mix. I used the sports ball pans for the shape. The frosting is the Wilton Buttercream recipe. The spots are oreo cookies with the insides cleaned out, the eyes are black m&ms. The red base is a Wilton #18 tip, the grass is Wilton # 233 tip. I also made the black using chocolate frosting with black coloring. I also found that for best results I needed to bake cakes for 50-60 minutes for inside to be completely done.
