My sister asked me to make her wedding cake last month and this is how it turned out! Only the second stacked cake I've done so I was super nervous the whole time.

For the monogram, I printed the letters on card stock and cut them out. I then colored some fondant to match the purple ribbon and traced around the letters with an exact-o knife to cut the fondant. I then coated the monogram with Wilton pearl dust, which did make the letters look quite a few shades darker than the ribbon.

Overall the process went smoothly and I am impressed and really happy with the end product. =D
