This cake was created for a customer's little girl's 1st birthday. I was based on a cake I have done before with different colors. She wanted 3 tiers. The bottom cake was a 10" vanilla cake 2 layers filled with white buttercream and covered in white fondant. The second tier was a 8" chocolate cake filled with chocolate pudding and crumb coated with white buttercream and covered in hot pink fondant. The top tier was a half ball cake vanilla flavored crumb coated with white buttercream and covered in black fondant. The Minnie mouse ears were made of craft foam and the bow was ribbon. All cakes were trimmed with black and white polka dot grosgrain ribbon. The dots, minnie mouse heads and letters were all cut out of fondant. The Minnie mouse wires sticking out of the cake were all created on the cricut die cut machine and decorated by my partner Jen. The smash cake is a 6" round 2 layer vanilla cake filled with buttercream icing and covered with white buttercream icing. I piped hot pink buttercream rosettes around the bottom and top of cake and piped the wording on top. I used fondant Minnie mouse cutouts around the sides of the cake.
