I'm so pleased with how this turned out! Girly purse makeup cake in celebration of a 17th birthday! The customer requested the 3D purse and some flat fondant makeup items, but I went a little crazy making stuff - lol!

It's a 10" square red velvet sheet cake with cream cheese frosting. (I will never, ever, ever, never - did I say never? - use a cream cheese frosting again! Too hard to work with!) The purse is made from krispy cereal and then covered in fondant. Other decorations are gumpaste.

I hope the birthday girl (and her guests) love the cake!
