This was a very emotional cake to make as well as being my first ever attempt at moulding fondant. It was for my terminally ill Mum, who has sadly since passed away. The most special moment was watching how often she would keep going back to look at it. Roses were her favourite flower and having a cup of tea was a favourite time of day. I was very proud to be able to make her last birthday cake.
