I did this cake for my cousin's graduation. She is going to Cosmetology School in the fall, so I made the hair dryer, scissors, etc. out of fondant. Buttercream frosted, all fondant decorations. Blue cap bottom is cake frosted in buttercream, mortar board is cardboard wrapped in fondant because my gumpaste one broke the night before! Both sides of the cake were decorated the same, except alternating the blue & gold (high school colors.) This is my 1st cake posted here, so TFL!!!!
