The couple had a destination wedding in Florida, so they wanted a tropical theme for their reception back home. The top is a 6" cake that they can cut into. It is teal BC. The 2 orchids are gumpaste. I made 300 cupcakes--vanilla, carrot and chocolate. This was my first cupcake tower. It took awhile to set them all up. I used a large round tip to do the swirl on top of the cupcakes. The smaller flowers on the cupcakes are mini fondant orchids.
