Cake made for a 90th Birthday. I was told Fran is 90, was an avid gardener, proud of being San Franciscan and Irish, likes lemon, cannot eat whipped cream and likes the color blue. Was also told she has 3 sons that live in LA, Oregon and Texas, and her husband was Swiss. I tossed out the last bit and focused on the first few and this is what I came up with...That is the Transamerica Building and Golden Gate bridge on either side of the monogram plate. The monogram plate was supposed to be a celtic interlace pattern, turns out that is really hard to replicate...LOL
