I made this dinosaur cake for a co-worker's son's third birthday. The design was influenced by many of the cakes found here on CC, but most prominently, MacsMom's wonderful "cute" dinosaur design. The cake looked great after carving, but was crumbling BIG time while icing, so I lost some of the detail I had hoped to achieve. Chalk it up to lack of experience, I guess, as I've only got a couple of carved cakes under my belt at this point, and they were a lot simpler in design for sure. A good learning experience, though...
