Cake for my friend's birthday who is obviously a huge Cubs fan and who loves number 17 Mike Fontenot. The jersey is especially tiny because we always joke about how little he is. The is my first ballcap cake. I used the directions from the Confetti Cakes book which made this really easy to do. The ball cap and the jersey are cake. The baseball is a styrofoam ball covered in fondant. I was super pleased with the outcome. It isn't perfect, but it was the cleanest, most precise cake I have completed to date.
