These are cake truffles (aka cake balls) coated in choc. to look like little mini cupcakes.

I used a fluted cup chocolate mold, filled with a little colored white choc. then stuck in the cake ball, then let it set up and then dipped the top of the cake ball in white chocolate, used a spatula to swirl the chocolate and added non pareils and a red m&m on top. Been wanting to try this for a while and finally had some extra time and extra cake scraps! TFL
