I made this cake for Mothers Day. It is carved from three 8 chocolate round cakes and iced with buttercream. Flower pot rim created with buttercream using cake icer tip. I was going to use crushed Oreos for the dirt, but the cake was chocolate so I just scraped the top surface with the side of a spoon and it looked like dirt. Daisies are royal icing and stems are wooden skewers dyed with dark green food color. I attached the flowers to the stems with royal icing and green DOTS candy.
