Here is a second picture of my first fondant cake. This view shows the wood-graining. Twist white and brown fondant and then work it until it becomes like wood grain, being careful not to overwork. I didn't have time to 'varnish' it so it is an 'au natural' look. I made the bottle by using a loaf pan and then carving it out. The neck is a separate piece and I used a candy stick to secure it to the bottle. Then covered it with Wilton's black fondant (does NOT taste good!).
