I did this for a friend. Unfortunately it never made it to the shower. She had to be hospitalized to stop early labor. I am partly relieved because it did not turn out as nice as I wanted...but obviously concerned for her. I did a buttercream transfer as the entire top of the cake. I did not have the cake level before I put the transfer on top, so there were dips and bulges. Butterfly is chocolate. The cake was WASC with buttercream icing.
