this cake wasen't difficult at all regular yellow cake with almond flavored simple syrup to wet it the only thing that got me was i ran out or shortening and had to use butter and my icing was way too soft . so ihad to run out to the store this morning and get some more shortening to finish the flower bed. Butter never again....
