Hi, I've been doing lots of research on what cake pan to get and in the end, I narrowed it down to these two.   Which one would be the better choice if I'm looking to make cakes that have the lightest coloured crusts? Thanks.

The only Nordic pans I have seen are very heavyweight .... in my thinking much to heavy for more than occasional use .   I’ve used ml & really liked them

I've only used Nordic Ware for bundt pans and they give a very browned crust.  Probably not what you want.

I also vote for the Magic Line pans -- they are pretty great for layer cakes. It seems like the nordicware pans bake a darker crust that is also just a little thicker, but that may just be the heavier batter.

100% Magic Line, Parrish [old school if you can find them], or Lloyd pans.

I buy new Lloyd pans when I need a new one.  They're as good as ML, and extremely affordable.
