I'm baking a chocolate cake. I want to fold in egg white as well as flour to it. How should I go about it? Flod in flour first followed by egg whites or vice versa?

Thanks.

Flour first, then the beaten egg whites...

Personally, I've never heard of folding in flour.  Most of the time, a recipe calls for adding dry ingredients alternately with wet and mix until well blended, then fold in the beaten egg whites.

Sandra, I have a Polish cake recipe where you fold in your flour, then your beaten egg whites

I stand corrected and learned something new today.  Thanks, June.
